Tolima is one such coffee, showing off exceptional brightness, a firm, balanced body and sweet, clean citrus and toasted pecan notes. Coffee from the Tolima region competes with coca for popularity among farmers focused on survival in this remote mountainous region. Excellent as a first cup of the day, all day long or after just about any dessert. These very hard, dense beans blew us away at a roast slightly darker than right down the middle.
