If you live in New York, chances are you have driven on the BQE––a pothole-pocked stretch of pavement winding its way through Brooklyn and Queens, built by Robert Moses in the 1940’s and ‘50’s and “under construction” ever since. It is an expressway in name only. Unlike its namesake thoroughfare, BQE Espresso is also “always under construction”––intentionally. A singular blend of select and seasonal coffees, BQE aims at capturing the essence of its ever-changing component origins.
